Feature
The flora of the bay represents a wide variety of grasses and shrubs; oak prevails among the trees. A small hill covered with forest rises above the bay, and at the top there is a defensive fortification of the 30s of the nineteenth century.
A small beach, covered with sand mixed with stones in the summer, is always popular with townspeople despite signs prohibiting swimming.
Near Patroclus Bay there is a freshwater Bezymyannoe Lake.
Patroclus Bay is often shrouded in fogs, in the summer the fog disperses for only a few hours, and then again wraps the earth.
