Kapelyushnikov, Rostislav Isaakovich

Born March 24, 1951 in Moscow. In 1968 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 2 of Moscow. In 1973 he graduated from the Economics Department of Moscow State University .

In 1978, after completing graduate school, he defended his thesis “Modern Bourgeois Concepts of the Formation of the Labor Force: A Critical Analysis” and worked as the chief scientific associate of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the USSR Academy of Sciences (RAS) . Since 2001 - Deputy Director of the HSE Center for Labor Studies.

In 2003 he defended his doctoral dissertation “The Russian Labor Market: Adaptation without Restructuring” ^[2] . On October 28, 2016 he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Global Problems and International Relations.

Specialist in the field of world economy , new institutional economy , labor market . The author of 253 scientific works, including 6 individual monographs, 125 articles in scientific journals.

Translator and scientific editor of Russian translations by Friedrich Hayek , Ronald Coase , Gary Becker . Member of the Editorial Board of the journal “ World Economy and International Relations ” ^[3] .

The number of publications is 243, the number of citations is 8320, the Hirsch index is 42 (2017) ^[4] .
