Career

Lajosh began his football career at Törekves . From there he went to Czechoslovakia , to the Maccabi club from the city of Brno . This team belonged to the Jewish community of the city and played in a tournament for the Jewish teams of Czechoslovakia. The club was made up of players from various countries, and it was not necessary to be a Jew [1] . In particular, from Hungary, in addition to Weber, Ferenc Hirser , Zoltan Opata , Jozsef Eisenhoffer played . In 1923, Lajos returned to Hungary, where he again became a player of Törekves. In 1925, he again left his homeland, joining the Italian " Bologna " [2] . For this club, the football player spent 11 matches [3] . In 1926, Weber moved to the Bashtya club, where he played for almost two seasons, having spent 29 matches and scoring 2 goals. In 1928, he moved to the MTK Hungaria . As part of the Hungarian national team, Weber made his debut on March 25, 1925 in a match with Switzerland , in which his team won 5-0. In the same year he played two more matches; Hungary lost in both. In 1926, he played two games for the national team. Weber spent the last match for the national team on October 7, 1928 as part of the Central European Cup . In it, the Hungarians lost with a score of 1: 5 Austria .
