Biography
In 1960 he graduated from the Department of Natural Sciences of the Moscow Institute of Natural History. In 1967, he became the author of a small article included in the collection, which had a huge impact on the method of counting birds in forest landscapes. The modified technique is still applied. The author of about 270 works, 9 monographs .
One of the founders of the Menzbirovsky Ornithological Society and the Russian Bird Conservation Union [2] .
