Robin Petteri Packalen ( Swede Robin Petteri Packalen , better known by the stage name Robin , Fin. Robin ; born August 24, 1998 , Turku , Finland ) is a Finnish tin-pop vocalist whose album sales totaled more than 400 thousand copies, which included him as part of seventy best-selling artists in the history of his country ^[1] .

Biography

Born August 24, 1998 in Turku, Finland.

In 2008, at the age of 10, he won the Finnish nationwide singing contest for youth Staraskaba ^[2] .

In 2009, he represented Finland at the New Wave Children's Competition held in Moscow ^[3] .

On January 16, 2012, he recorded his first official single, , which was an instant success and debuted at number five on the Finnish charts until it reached the leader position ^[4] ^[5] . February 22, 2012 was recorded the first debut album , whose sales in the country amounted to more than 100 thousand copies.

In 2017, he played a small role (Hauchia) in the feature film of the Finnish director Aku Louhimies “ Unknown Soldier ” ^[6] .

Since 2018, it is supposed to pass an annual service in the Navy in the Finnish Defense Forces ^[7] .
