Shchimatarion ( Greek: Σχηματάριον [1] ), Shchimatarius ( Σχηματάρι ) is a small town in Greece . Located at the foot of Parnis at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level, 43 kilometers northwest of the center of Athens , Omonias Square. The administrative center of the community (dima) of Tanagra in the peripheral unit of Boeotia in the periphery of Central Greece . The population of 4035 inhabitants according to the 2011 census [1] .

The Α1 motorway ( Piraeus - Athens - Thessaloniki - Evzoni ), part of the European route E75, runs along the northern edge of the Shchimatarion. Motorway Α11 connects the Shchimatarion and Chalkida on the island of Euboea 13 kilometers to the north.
On the southern outskirts is the Tanagra railway station railway line Piraeus - Thessaloniki .

Community Schematarion
According to the law ΦΕΚ 270 of December 24, 2014 [2] another community unit, Dilesi , was created in the community (dime) of Tanagra; since January 1, 2016, the village of Inoi has been included in the community of Shchimatarion. The population of 4477 inhabitants according to the 2011 census [1] . The area of 38.285 square kilometers as of 2015, before the entry into force of the changes [3] .
