Biography
Born in 1957 in the city of Ufa . In 1977 he graduated from the Leningrad Art College. V. A. Serova (teacher - V. S. Novikov) [2] [3] .
Since 1977, participates in exhibitions, art events, projects and symposia.
Since 1983 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR [4] .
Since 1987 - a member of the creative association "Village of Artists - Kolomyagi-Ozerki-Shuvalovo" [5] . In the 1980s, in this historically suburban area in the north of Leningrad, several artists settled in dilapidated wooden houses and converted them into workshops. Among them was Alexander Pozin with his wife Marina Spivak and father-in-law Lev Smorgon (also artists) [6] [7] . In 2014, the sculptor's house-workshop was damaged by a fire.
