Buryat Republican Circus School

Buryat National Circus School Studio under the leadership of People's Artist of the Russian Federation M.Kh. Zhapkhandaeva was founded in 1997 (from November 21, 2014 - the State Autonomous Institution of Further Education of the Republic of Buryatia “Buryat Republican Circus School”). At the origins of its creation was an outstanding artist of Buryatia - Zhapkhandaev Maidari Khaydapovich - People's Artist of the Russian Federation , laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Buryatia, awarded the Order of Friendship. The circus school is the main source of replenishment of the staff of the State circus of the Republic of Buryatia.

In the circus school, children from all over the Republic of Buryatia study.

Classes with young artists were conducted by Honored Worker of Mongolia and the Republic of Buryatia Bambazhav Borhuu, Honored Worker of Arts of the Republic of Buryatia Baaran Tumurbaatar, Honored Worker of Arts of the Republic of Buryatia, State Prize of the Republic of Buryatia Tsend-Ochir Selenge, who have rich experience in practical work in the circus arenas of Mongolia, Korea , USA , Germany .

In different years, the circus school graduated from the arena masters, whose names were decorated with posters of the Buryat State Circus of the Republic of Buryatia. These are People's Artist of the Republic of Buryatia Buyanto Tsyrenov, Honored Artists of the Republic of Buryatia Anna Khabeeva, Bayarma Zodboeva, Ayagma Tsybenova, Imin Tsydendambaeva, Maria Yukhrimova, Bato-Shulun Danzhalov, Bayashkhalan Rinchinov, Alexander Karpushkeev and others.

Graduates of the circus school work in circus troupes in Moscow , Novosibirsk , Chelyabinsk , the Canadian Circus Du Soleil , in Mongolia.

Teachers of the Circus School are actively engaged in expanding the educational and methodological base, since there is practically no methodical literature on teaching circus genres. Teachers annually develop guidelines for students and teachers to improve pedagogical skills, adapt work programs in circus disciplines.

The circus school’s repertoire includes more than 50 circus performances, the famous “Awakened Snakes”, “Swans”, “Goddesses”, became an event in the circus world of Russia, a hallmark of the Buryat circus and entered the Golden Fund of the Buryat circus art, reporting concerts, such as: “ Flower-semitsvetik "," Wonderland "," Through the Looking Glass "," Alice in Wonderland "," Welcome tu the circus ".

The circus school performs in joint performances with the State Circus of the Republic of Buryatia in the performances of Mowgli, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, Madagascar, and Goddess of Baikal.

Senior students are engaged in almost all circus performances of the Buryat circus of Buryatia.

The circus school takes an active part in competitions and festivals.

Since 2000, the Buryat circus school has steadily become the “forge” of circus personnel not only for the Republic of Buryatia, but also for other regions of Russia.

The Buryat National Circus School Studio was founded on 02.27.1997 by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia.

1998 year

• "Golden Harlequin" for I place at the international festival of independent circuses and circus schools, St. Petersburg. They became the best among artists of 14 countries of the world having received a prize for the number "Awakened Snakes";
• “Silver Clown” for II place at the III international festival of circus art, Warsaw (Poland);
• Diploma for III places at the international television festival of art "Bravo - Bravissimo" in Mantovo (Italy).

1999 year

• Gold medals for participation in the First All-Russian Delphic Games, in the Circus nomination, Saratov.

• Bronze medals and Diploma for participation in the II World Delphic Games, in the nomination "Circus", Moscow.

• participation in the international festival of circus art "Friendship" in Ulan Bator (Mongolia), received the prize "The Best Number";
• Awarded with Special Prizes of the Polish and Hungarian circuses, as well as the Prize "The Youngest Circus Artists" (Russia).

2004 year

• "Golden Juggler" for I place at the international festival of circus art, Latina (Italy);
• "Grand Prix" of the First international festival of children's and youth circus groups "Wonderland", Krasnoyarsk;
• "Bronze Mammoth" for III place at the I international festival "Mammoth - 2004", Yakutsk.

2005 year

• "Golden Cup" for I place at the international festival of circus art, Monte Carlo (Monaco);
• "Bronze Lion" for III place at the X international festival of circus art, Shizhazo (China).

2006 year

• participation in the International Festival of Circus Art “Planet Flowers” ​​in the city of Vyborg, Leningrad Region, won the Northern Owl Cup for the team 1 place and 2 first places in the individual championship by type: aerial gymnastics and the original genre;
• participation in the Second international festival of children's and youth circus groups in the city of Krasnoyarsk, where they received a diploma of the III degree in the nomination "Best Number", under the number "Acrobats on a throwing board" and the prize "Golden Antei".

• By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia dated May 29, 2009 No. 211 is renamed the State Educational Institution of Further Education for Children (Children's Art School) “Buryat Republican Circus School”.
