Geography
The village is located just above the Petrovsky pond, from which the Sukhoi Kamyshlak river originates [3] , about 46 km in a straight line northward from the district center of the village of Ozinki (64 km by road) [4] .
History
The village of Petrakovka is mentioned in the List of populated places of the Samara province in 1910. According to the List, 554 men and 590 women, former state peasants , immigrants, Little Russians , Orthodox lived in the village of Petrakovka, Nizhne-Pokrovskaya volost, Nikolaevsky district . The land allotment was 2832 tithes of comfortable land and 944 tithes of uncomfortable land [5] .
