Squirrel (also known as Pelska , Est. Pelska jõgi in Estonia) is a small river in the Pechora district of the Pskov region and the Võruma county in Estonia. One of the right tributaries of the Piusa (Pimzha) river, the basin of Lake Pskov. The length of the river reaches 25 km; of which 23 km in the Pskov region, 2 km in Estonia (lower reaches and estuaries) [1] . The catchment area is 85.2 km² (according to 1985), but then they were reduced to a more realistic 14.9 km² in 1998 [2] . Nutrition is snow, rain, underground. It originates on a hill near the village of Aristovo , then flows to the north and northwest [3] . It flows into Piusa at a level of about 44 m above sea level in Estonian territory, in the village of Vymmorski [4] . The Belka River is on the Estonian list of places for spawning salmon, river trout, and sea trout (RTL 2004, 87 1362). On the river is the village of Tivikovo . The largest right tributary is the Verebkovsky stream [4] . The streams of Mustoy and Helby flow to the left. An ordinary sculpin ( Cottus gobio ) is found in the river.
