Distribution map of ho and other munda languages in India
Ho is a people in India , living mainly in the state of Jharkhand , mainly in the Singhbhuma region, as well as in the states of Orissa and West Bengal . A small number live in Bangladesh . The number in India is 1,077,000 people (1997). They speak the language of the ho branch of the munda , use the Devanagari script or the original - varang-kshiti . Languages of Oriya , Santali and Hindi are limited.
Religion
They profess traditional beliefs, some are Hindus and Christians .
