The village is located on the right bank of the Solyanka River [3] , about 41 km in a straight line in the north-east direction from the district center of the village of Ozinki (49 km by road) [4] .

History

Solyanskiye ownership farms are mentioned in the List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire according to 1859. The farms belonged to the Nikolaev district of the Samara province. In the farms lived 31 men and 24 women [5] . According to the List of populated areas of the Samara province, according to information for 1889, it is listed as the state village of Solyanka as part of the Kuzyabayev volost . The land allotment was 7160 acres of convenient and 370 uncomfortable land. 1414 souls of both sexes lived in the village [6] . Subsequently, the village was allocated in Solyanskoy volost .

According to the List of Populated Places of the Samara Province in 1910, 1309 men and 1125 women lived in the village, former state peasants , Belorussians , Orthodox Christians, the village had a volost government, a church, parish and parish schools, a post office, and zemstvo station, 3 fairs were held [ 7] .
