Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Nergel River, 15 km north of the center of the village of Peksha and 31 km northeast of the district center of Petushka .
History
In the XVII - the first half of the XIX century, the village was part of the village Matrenino with the name Denisova Side . According to the scribe books of 1637, the village of Matrenino was listed in Matreninsky volost [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Vorontsov volost of the Pokrovsky district , since 1924 - as part of the Bolda volost of Vladimir district . In 1859 [3] there were 31 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 46 yards, in 1926 [5] - 43 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Podvyaznovsky village council of the Sobinsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Larionovsky village council , since 1945 - as part of the Petushinsky district , since 2005 - as part of the Pekshinsky rural settlement .
