Biography

Born on November 13, 1948 in Moscow. In 1972 Graduated from the Department of Psychology of MV Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 1986 defended her thesis on the topic "Psychological knowledge of labor and working people in Russia at the end of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries", under the guidance of Professor E. A. Klimov; in 1998 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "History of the Psychology of Labor in Russia (1917-1957)." Since 1972 he has been working at the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov , since 1999 . - as a professor at the Department of Occupational Psychology and Engineering Psychology - from 1999. From 1990 to 2000 - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Psychology for Academic Affairs. From 1990 to 2003 - Member of the Editorial Board of the journal “Bulletin of Moscow University. Series 14. Psychology . " From 2004 to 2008 headed the department of developmental psychology and acmeology at Moscow University for the Humanities, was a member of the dissertation council at Moscow State University. [2]

The area of ​​scientific interests of O. G. Noskova: the history of domestic and foreign psychology of labor and related areas of applied psychology; problems of labor psychology; psychology of professions, typology of professions, career counseling.

The topic of the PhD thesis is “Psychological knowledge of labor and working people in Russia of the late XIX - early XX century.”

The theme of the doctoral dissertation is “The history of the psychology of labor in Russia. 1917-1957. " The work outlines the contribution of applied psychological disciplines to the formation of problems of domestic general psychology, its theory and methodology.

In the course of her scientific research, Noskova actually created a new version of the psychology of labor activity as a branch of scientific knowledge. As a result of her work, labor psychology is now organically and very meaningfully interfaced with many other branches of psychology, from general, social, pedagogical psychology to clinical psychology.

Most of the major works of O. G. Noskova are textbooks. Her major textbook, “Psychology of Labor” (Moscow: Academy, 2004), has been reprinted more than once. The information contained in this textbook, as in other works of Olga Gennadievna, is historically substantiated and at the same time is a response to the most diverse questions of psychology.

Thanks to O. G. Noskova, the students with whom she conducts classes compiled descriptions of the educational professions, specialties and specializations of Moscow University. M.V. Lomonosov. These descriptions are published in three issues of the collection “Professions of Moscow University” (2000), and are also presented on the Moscow State University website dedicated to the 250th anniversary of its founding. In addition, more than 40 vocational guidance descriptions of labor posts of psychologists have been compiled. These descriptions are entitled Psychology as a Profession.
