Biography
He came from a simple peasant family. Received secondary education in Zbarazh . He studied law at the University of Lviv, and in 1807 received a doctorate in law from the Jagiellonian University . In 1810-1828 he worked as a lawyer in a noble court in Lviv. Since 1813, he connected his activities with the Lviv University, where he received a Ph.D. (1817). He taught at two faculties: law (natural, peoples and criminal) and philosophy, where he was dean three times. In 1828-1829 he was rector of the Lviv University. In 1811 he married Franciszka of the Choleski, with whom he had two sons: Edward (died in 1881, adviser to the High Tribunal in Vienna) and Alexander (doctor of law). I bought land for myself, and Emperor Ferdinand granted him a diploma of nobility.
Died in Lviv, buried in a family estate in the village. Ventskovichi (now Verbovka , Sambir district , Lviv region ).
