Geography

The village is located 11 km north-east from the center of the village of Peksha and 30 km north-east from the district center of Petushki .

History

According to the scribal books of 1637, the Gemini village was listed in the Matreninsky parish with the center in the Resurrection churchyard [2] .

At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the village was part of the Vorontsov volost of the Pokrovsky district , since 1924 it was part of the Boldinskaya volost of the Vladimir district . In 1859 [3] there were 27 households in the village, in 1905 [4] - 37 households, in 1926 [5] - 35 farms.

Since 1929, the village has been the center of the Bliznetsovsky Village Council of the Sobinsky District , since 1945 - as part of the Larionovsky Village Council of the Petushinsky District , since 2005 - as part of the Pekshinsky rural settlement .
