Geography

The village is located near the highway 17N-3 Khokhlovo - Kameshkovo - Ruchey , in the south-west adjoins the district center of the city of Kameshkovo .

History

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Eden parish of the Kovrov district . In 1859 [2] there were 38 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 53 yards, in 1926 [4] - 41 yards.

Since 1929, the village was the center of the Berkovsky village council of the Kovrovsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Volkovoinovsky village council of the Kameshkovsky district , since 1954 - as part of the Gorkinsky village council , since 1959 - as a member of the Terekhovitsky village council , since 1977 - as part of the Volkovonovsky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Vtorovskoye municipality .
