Gents Ruli ( alb. Genc Ruli ; April 1, 1958 , Durres ) - Albanian economist and politician.

Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy ( 2005 - 2009 ), Minister of Environment and Consumer Protection in the government of Sale Berisha ( 2009 - 2013 ). In 1981, he received a degree in economics, and in 1982 he graduated from the law faculty of the University of Tirana . After receiving education, he began research work in his alma mater. He defended his doctoral thesis in economics in 1986. In 1994 , he became a professor of economics.
Since 1991 , he is a member of the Democratic Party of Albania , in June of the same year, he headed the Ministry of Finance in the government headed by Yuli Bufi . He became finance minister for the second time after the Democratic Party won the 1992 parliamentary elections. After leaving office, he served as chairman of the parliamentary finance committee. He was also president of the Social Security Institute.
He is the vice president of the National Olympic Committee of Albania .
