Geography
The village is located 2 km south from the center of the settlement of Novy and 9 km south-west from the district center of the city of Kovrov .
History
In the XIX - the first quarter of the XX century, the village was part of the Belkovsky volost of the Kovrovsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Klyushnikov volost . In 1859 [2] there were 20 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 41 yards, in 1926 [4] - 35 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Babensky village council of the Kovrovsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Belkovsky village council , since 1958 - as part of the Velikovsky village council , since 1972 - as part of the Novoselsky village council , and since 2005 - as part of the Novoselsky rural settlement .
