Geography
The village is located 16 km south-west from the center of the settlement of Novy settlement and 24 km south-west from the regional center of the town of Kovrov .
History
In the XIX - the first quarter of the XX century, the village was part of the Belkovsky volost of the Kovrov district , since 1926 - as part of the Klyushnikovskoy volost . In 1859 [2] there were 6 courtyards in the village of Sazhino, in the village of Vysokovo , located to the south, there were 12 courtyards and 133 people, in 1905 [3] there were 19 courtyards, in 1926 [4] - 21 courtyards.
Since 1929, the village has been a part of the Rusinsky Village Council of the Kovrov District , since 1940 - as part of the Dmitrievsky Village Council , since 1958 - as part of the Velikovsky Village Council , since 1972 - as part of the Novoselsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Novoselsky Rural Settlement .
