Biography
He was born in 1909 in the village of Chayly in the Kazakh district of the Elizavetpol province (now the Kazakh region of Azerbaijan).
He worked as a link in the collective farm named after Stalin of the Kazakh region of the Azerbaijan SSR. In 1949, he received a cotton crop of 80.6 centners per hectare on an area of 7 hectares.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 12, 1950 , for receiving high yields of cotton on irrigated lands in 1949, Allahverdiyev Bakhtiyar Ahmed oglu was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."
He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1947 .
He died in 1974 in his native village.
