Biography
Born on November 17, 1942, to a large peasant family in the Serbluzhitsky village of Stara Tsygelnitsa in the vicinity of Budishina . After graduating from Serboluzhitsky high school, he studied theology and in 1968 was ordained a priest.
He celebrated the first Mass in the Catholic Church of the Holy Apostles Simon and Thaddeus in Khroschitsy . Over the next six years, he served in Ralbice , then from 1974 to 1976 in the parish of the commune of Khroschytsy and from 1976 to 1978 in the city of Kulov .
Since 1978 - rector of the parish in the village of Bachony . From the same year, for the next 35 years until 2013, on a voluntary basis, was the editor-in-chief of the magazine Katolski Posoł. Under his leadership, the magazine began to appear every week. In 2012, in collaboration with Machius Bulank, he published an illustrated book, W katolskich Serbach.
On June 20, 2014, he received the Gandri Zeiler Prize "for many years of voluntary and persistent work for the benefit of preserving and disseminating the literary language of Luga as a chief editor and publicist" [1] [2] [1] .
