Geographical position
The city is located in eastern Chad, north of Wadi Sava, at an altitude of 508 meters above sea level [2] . Abugudam is located approximately 630 kilometers east-northeast (ENE) of the country's capital N'Djamena .
Population
According to the official census of 2009, the population of Abugudam was 10,253 people (5,087 men and 5,166 women). The population of the sub-prefecture in the age range was distributed as follows: 52.3% - residents under 15 years old, 42.1% - between 15 and 59 years old and 5.6% - aged 60 years and older [3] .
Transportation
The nearest airport is located in the city of Abeche [2] .
