Li Shan ( Chinese trad. 李 鱔 , ex. 李 鳝 , pinyin : Lǐ Shàn , 1686 - 1762) - Chinese artist , calligrapher . Li Shan was born in Jiangsu , was an artist during the Qing Empire . Li Shan began to show interest in painting at an early age and by the age of 16, Li Shan attracted attention already as a well-established and well-known artist. Li Shan's paintings had a high level of skill. Li Shan was influenced by Shitao's work. He was a member of the creative team “Eight Eccentrics from Yangzhou” .

In addition to painting, Li Shan, also worked as a judge in Shandong . Two contemporary artists also have the name Li Shan, one of whom was born in 1885, and the other in 1926.
