The village is located on the Chalykle River, about 4.6 km in a straight line north-east of the regional center of the village of Ozinki (7 km by road) [2] .

History
The Stolyary farm is mentioned in the List of Populated Places of the Samara Province, according to 1889. The farm belonged to the Natalinsky volost of the Novouzensk district of the Samara province. The farm was inhabited by 87 inhabitants [3] .
According to the List of populated areas of the Samara province of 1910, 130 men and 144 women lived on the farm, there were 2 windmills [4] .
In 1919, as part of the Novouzensk district, the village was included in the Saratov province [5] .
