Biography

Baiyndy Elizaveta Baiyrovna was born on January 9, 1951 in the village of Ak-Durug of the Ulug-Khem district of the Tuva Autonomous Region in a family of arats [1] . In 1967, Elizaveta Bayyrovna entered the art department of the Kyzyl College of Arts . After a successful graduation, she began to work as a stone-cutting artist. For two years she worked as a methodologist in applied art at the House of Folk Art, then as a stone-cutter in the souvenir shop of the Kyzyl furniture factory. In 1978, she was sent for advanced training at the Abramtsevo Art and Industrial School in the city of Khotkovo, Moscow Region , where she received an honors degree. She became a worthy student and successor of the creative heritage of her father Bayir Sarygovich Bayynda, a famous stone-cutter, laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR them. I. E. Repin [2] . Creativity

The first work of stone - a bust of Tuvinian made by E. Bayynda during his studies in 1974 [2] . Participation in the 4th All-Russian art exhibition “Soviet Russia” in 1976 in Moscow became significant for her. E.S.Bayyndy began to constantly participate in republican, zonal, All-Russian, All-Union and foreign exhibitions such as "Siberia Socialist", "Sculpture of small forms", "Young artists of Siberia", "Youth of Russia", "Animalists of Russia", " By native country ”,“ Folk Art of Russia ”,“ Siberia ”,“ Russia ”and foreign countries - Canada , USA , Mongolia , Japan [2] . Her stone-cutting works depict solitary figures of animals (horses, goats, sarliks, arzylans, bulls, rams, camels). Then she began to give the figures a certain movement, highlighting the character and habits of specific animals. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, a series of riders appeared in the work of Elizaveta Bayyrovna - “The Horseman” (1979), “The Swift Horsewoman” (1980), “The Horseman of the Revolution” (1984). From the mid-1980s to the end of 1990 in the creative activity of E.B. Baiynda created new genre compositions in small plastic: "Friends" (1986), "Stubborn Camel" (1988), "See You" (1989), "Thunder Dragon, Snake and Monkey" ( 1989), Our Childhood (1990). et al. [1] . Its best stone-carving sculptures are presented in art museums in Krasnoyarsk , Chita , Irkutsk , the Russian Ethnographic Museum of St. Petersburg , the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art of Moscow, the National Museum named after Aldan-Maadyr of the Republic of Tuva and private art collections.
