Biography
Orthodox. Hereditary nobleman. Landowner of Ardatov Uyezd (250 acres ), landowner.
After graduating from an agricultural school in Moscow in 1888, he entered the Petrovsky Agricultural Academy , but was forced to leave the first year. For eleven years he was engaged in agriculture on his estate, managed the affairs of others and led the trade in bread.
He was elected the vowel of the Ardat district and Simbirsk provincial assemblies , and took an active part in organizing agronomic assistance to the population. In 1898 he entered the Moscow Agricultural Institute , which he graduated in 1902 with the title of agronomist of the 1st degree. In 1904 he was elected chairman of the Ardatov district county council. He was authorized in the province from the all-zemstvo organization and the free-economic society to assist the hungry, took an active part in the work of the land management commission. In 1907, he was balloted in the elections to the county vowels, and then to the chairmen of the council. He participated in the first congresses of zemstvo and city leaders in Moscow.
In 1907 he was elected a member of the III State Duma from the 2nd congress of city voters in the Simbirsk province. He was a member of the cadet faction. He was a member of the commissions: budget, agricultural, land, food, as well as on the execution of the state list of income and expenses.
Fate after 1912 is unknown.
