Fisher Ray

Fisher was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in Lonside, New Jersey and attended Haddon Heights High School. ^[1] It was there that he was introduced to the theater by his English teacher in high school. He actively participated in the school curriculum and sang in the church choir. An English teacher introduced him to acting.

After high school, Fisher studied at the American Academy of Music and Drama in New York. ^[2]

In 2008, Fisher began performing at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey's Shakespeare Live, which presents professional theater performances in schools throughout the New York metropolitan area. In the end, he got the role of Tom Robinson in the production program “To Kill a Mockingbird”, which he first read in high school. About how he approached that role, he said ... In 2009, Fisher performed in a play by William Shakespeare Macbeth at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey in Madison, New Jersey, at Drew University. Fisher gained 20 pounds of muscle to portray Muhammad Ali in 2013 outside the Broadway production of Fetch Clay, Make Man at the New York Theater in New York, starting from 193 to 212 pounds .. ^[4] Fisher announced his training: Ali never I didn’t lift weights, but he naturally had a larger shape than mine, so I had to lift - benches, do squats, and bench press. ^[five]

When I signed the contract, I just wanted to be part of this world. But I learned this specific information only then and there. I did not think that I would get my own movie. I am an actor with long films and have not seen anything like it, at least until 40. This is a great honor, but with it comes a little pressure. My mind is just stunned right now. " ^[8] Fisher will also reprise his role in the upcoming Flashpoint film. ^[9] On August 10, 2017 on Instagram, Fisher stated that he had gained 33 pounds of muscle per role, he increased his weight from “190 pounds to 223 pounds” ^[10]

On November 9, 2017, Fisher appeared on DC Movie News on Popcorn Talk YouTube. He mentioned how intense the achievement of the proper form was. “I ended up being in the gym two hours a day (five days) a week for almost the entire filming process.” He also had to consume 3 large meals that are approximately 3000 calories per day. ^[eleven]
