Biography

She was a citizen of Italy, but in the 1930s she lived in France. Three times in a row she won the French Women's Chess Championship (1932, 1933, 1934), but due to her lack of French citizenship, the local chess player was always recognized as a champion [1] . In 1933 she participated in the tournament for the title of world chess champion in Folkstone , in which she took 5th place ( Vera Menchik won) [2] . In 1934, she participated in a chess tournament in Milan , which was won by Mario Napolitano . Reliable information is lacking about her future fate.
