The Florida Project is an American tragicomedy directed by Sean Baker. The main roles were played by Willem Dafoe , Brooklyn Prince, Briah Wright, Valeria Cotto, Christopher Rivera and Caleb Landry Jones . The name comes from the early name of the project for Disney World , next to which the film was shot [4] .

Story
Summer. Mooney, an uncommunicative, ambitious 6-year-old girl, lives with her mother Haley in a community of long-stay motels in Kissimmee , Florida , where people who struggle with drug addiction, homelessness, mental illness, and life failures live. From a harsh and cruel life, an educated Muni who goes beyond his years goes off to meet adventures, sometimes begging tourists for money for food [9] .
