Gameplay

D-Pad Hero is a music game. The gameplay of D-Pad Hero is similar to the gameplay of the Guitar Hero series of games. Notes fall from the top to the bottom of the screen, synchronized with music. Upon reaching the threshold level, players press the buttons on the controller that correspond to the note. If the player presses the correct sequence of buttons at the right time, the guitar track in the song will continue to move. If a note is skipped, the guitar track will stand until the player hits the corresponding button. There is also a listening mode, which allows the user to simply listen to a song and watch the order of notes. In D-Pad Hero, 2 buttons are used for playing, and in the sequel - 5. In addition, in D-Pad Hero 2, in addition to notes, skulls appear that should not be pressed, slowdown-hours, etc. [2] .
