Biography
Ali Matykovich Tukhuzhev was born on October 7 (20), 1917 in the Kabardian aul of Klishbievo (now the village of Nartan, Chegem district, Kabardino-Balkaria ).
In 1935–1940, he studied at the first Balkar studio at GITIS (under the guidance of I. Ya. Sudakov ). After GITIS entered the troupe of the Kabardino-Balkarian Theater. A. Shogentsukova .
In 1940-1946 he served in the Soviet army, participated in the Great Patriotic War . In 1941 he participated in the Great Battle of Moscow . In 1942 he fought in Stalingrad ; in 1943 - on the Oryol-Kursk Bulge . Finished the war near Warsaw. Four times he was injured. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943.
After the war he returned to his native Kabardian theater, where he played until the end of his life. He had a bright comedic talent. The closest to him were the characters, distinguished by kindness and soft cheerfulness.
He died April 12, 1995.
