Alexander Ivanovich Vasilenko (born March 15, 1953 , Baku ) is a Russian musician and composer, laureate of Soviet and international competitions.

Biography
Born on March 15, 1953 in Baku , where he graduated from the music school, ten [ clarify ] .
During his school years he performed at concert venues with Muslim Magomayev .
In 1970 he entered the Moscow State Institute of Culture at the conductor's department. By distribution, he worked in Volgograd as the conductor of the city children's orchestra of folk instruments and the artistic director of the park, replacing the composer Grigory Ponomarenko in this field.
1975 - army service. The leader of the ensemble "Zvezdochka" of the Transcaucasian Military District , the Komsomol of the military unit. He was awarded the diploma of the Central Committee of the Komsomol .
Since 1976 he lives and works in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan .
From 2001 to 2004 during the construction of the Naberezhny Chelny Organ Hall, he worked as a sound producer and took part in the activities for the acoustic tuning of this room.
Since 2001, he has headed the club of art song named after Vladimir Vysotsky in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Currently [ when? ] works as a teacher of the musical department of the MAUDO of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny "Children's school of theatrical art" [1] .

He wrote over 70 songs on poems by Russian poets.

- “At the Ark at Eight” based on the play of Ulrich Huba (city puppet theater, Naberezhnye Chelny);
- “Where is the Krakatuk nut?” (Julius Kim);
- “The Story of One Hunger or Bon Appetit” (Grigory Goldman).
In 2014, a CD with a musical-poetic composition was released to the poems by Alexei Shilobodin “Distribution of Prophetic Dreams” .
Awards
Participant in the festival of political songs in Berlin (1979), winner of the festivals in memory of V. Khara in Tolyatti (1978, 1980, 1981).
Together with Sofia, Rotaru received the title of "Drummer of KAMAZ construction" for concert programs at construction sites of the city and KAMAZ (1978).
He was awarded the breastplates of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions for excellent work in the cultural and educational institutions of trade unions.
Awarded the medal of the winner of the Second All-Union Festival of Folk Art (1987).
