Power in the service of the people (or Monument to Human Freedom ) is the first in the world and the only monument to Human Freedom located in Kostroma . The sculptor of the monument is Alexander Eryomin.

"Power in the service of the people" symbolizes the victory of people in the struggle for freedom
On November 15, 2017, a monument was unveiled [1] (at the intersection of Fedoseyev and Krasnaya Sloboda streets) [2] . The monument is a plow drawn by the Serpent Gorynych [1] . Immediately after opening the monument was transported and installed in the park "Berendeevka" [1] [3] . The three-headed Serpent Gorynych, drawn by a plow, symbolizes the three branches of government in the service of the people [4] .
