Biography
He graduated from the Moscow State Technical University in 1929 with a degree in chemical technology of coloring substances.
Professor (1941).
Since 1942, researcher at the State Research Institute of Organic Chemistry and Technology.
He discovered (1949-1950, together with others) the oxidative chlorophosphonation reaction: (Soborovsky L. Z., Zinoviev Yu. M., Englin M. A. Formation of phosphorus - carbon bonds in the conjugate reaction of hydrocarbons, phosphorus trichloride and oxygen. // DAN USSR.- 1949.- T. 67.- No. 2.- S. 293-295.).
1960 Lenin Prize - for organizing the development and development of industrial production of organophosphorus OM sarin.
In 1963, he developed VR (Vi-Ar), a nerve agent.
He was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .
