Maxim Sergeevich Kulikov (born May 30, 1984 , Saransk ) is a Russian athlete specializing in decathlon . Champion of the 2017 Deaflympic Games. Three-time bronze medalist Deaflympics (2013, 2017). Maxim Sergeevich Kulikov was born on May 30, 1984 in Saransk. In 2002 he graduated from high school number 1 in the village of Khomutovo, in 2003 - the Irkutsk vocational school for disabled people in the specialty "computer operator", in 2008 - ISTU in the specialty "applied computer science in economics", in 2011 - the Irkutsk branch " RSUFKSMiT "in the specialty" Adaptive physical education ", and in 2014 - in the specialty" coach-teacher in athletics. "
He is training at OGOKU DOD "Irkutsk Regional Complex Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve" and the center of sports training [1] under the leadership of Sergey Yuryevich Ananyev.
Included in the Deaflympic team of Russia [2] .
In 2007 he was awarded the title " Master of Sports of Russia ".
In 2013 he was awarded the title of " Master of Sports of Russia of international class " [3] .
At the Deaflympic Games of 2013 in Sofia, he won a bronze medal in the decathlon [4] .
