Biography
Saaya Manmyrovich was born in the Arat family of Manmyr Mengitievich and Oruspay Urtanaevna. His literacy was taught by an older brother.
In 1945 he entered the Kyzyl trade school, which he successfully completed in 1946. He worked in Mugur-Aksy (1946-1950) as a senior accountant in the Mongun-Taiginsky district. From 1950 to 1953 he studied at the Minusinsk Cultural and Educational School in composition, with S. I. Wolfenzen and G. I. Ustvolskaya. While studying, he wrote a play for the violin “Memory of Tuva”, a quartet for stringed instruments. After graduating from college, he worked as the head of the department at the regional House of Folk Art. In 1964-1966 he completed an internship at the Theoretical and Composer Department of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of professor A. Nikolayev). [one]
In 1967, a collection of songs was released, which included the works of R. Kendenbil, S. Burbet, C. Begzy. In 2003, the publication Cheleestelgen Tyvam was released. Saaya Manmyrovich is the author of more than 200 songs, three symphonic poems, three suites, seven piano pieces, a concert for cello and orchestra Chira-Bora, and the opera Chechek. [2]
He was chairman of the choir society of the Tuva Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1958-1985), senior inspector of the Ministry of Culture of the Tuva Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, chairman of the Tuvan regional branch of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation (1995-1996), teacher of the Tuvan instrument class of the Kyzyl Art School (1993-1995), head Department of Music Education, IRPO (1995-2002) [3] .
