History
The magazine was published in Odessa monthly. Since 1887, it was called the Circular in the Odessa School District.
The Circular published government orders, orders of the Ministry of Education, orders of the trustee of the school district and other official information, lists of textbooks and books for various types of educational institutions, and pedagogical articles.
In No. 11 for 1879, the Alphabetical Index of Articles Placed in the Circular on the Management of the Odessa School District from 1864 to 1876 inclusive, compiled by E. Rontaler, was placed.
Since 1917, it has been called the Izvestia of the Odessa Educational District.
