Geography

The village is located 8 km east of the regional center of the city of Suzdal near the 17K-7 highway Kameshkovo - Lyakhovitsy - Suzdal .

History

In the late XIX - early XX century, the village was part of the Bykovsky parish of Suzdal district . In 1859 [2] there were 16 courtyards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 28 courtyards, in 1926 [4] - 38 farms.

Since 1929, the village has been the center of the Bereznitsky Village Council of the Suzdal District , since 1940 - as part of the Lyakhovitsky Village Council , since 1956 - as part of the Kidekshansky Village Council , since 1974 - as part of the Seletsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Seletsky Rural Settlement .
