Shod san lat (translated from Ingush - like beating a whip) - Ingush national martial arts. Revived, systematized and popularized by Professor Magomed-Girey Ibragimovich Sukiev .
Shod san lat is created on the basis of the historical military and sports traditions of the Ingush people , includes a symbiosis of shock and throwing equipment. In 2016, it was included in the All-Russian register of sports (the third section of the register is “national sports”, No. 6).
Shod san lat was first shown to the general public in 1990, at a conference on martial arts in Moscow. The first section opened in 2013, in the capital of Ingushetia , Magas . The fighter’s motto is Shod San Lat: “Be flexible as a whip.”
