Performances at junior competitions

In 2008, for the first time took part in the youth biathlon world championship. Participating in the following years, each time she improved her results. At the 2011 World Junior Championships, Shardin came fifth in the sprint. In 2012, she won 2 gold medals in the individual and pursuit.
