Biography
Born February 13, 1913 .
He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics (now St. Petersburg State University of Economics ). He was a participant in the Great Patriotic War from the beginning to its end. At the front, heading the financial department of the special forces brigade.
At the end of the war, in 1945, he entered the graduate school of the Moscow Finance Institute (now Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation ) at the Department of Accounting and Analysis. In 1948 he defended his thesis, in 1958 - his doctorate ("Problems of accounting in the industry of the USSR").
In 1958-1969, Afanasy Dodonov headed the department of accounting at the Moscow Financial Institute. [2] Then, before retiring in 1986, the department of the Moscow Technological Institute of Consumer Services (now the Russian State University of Tourism and Service ).
In his scientific activity, A. A. Dodonov dealt with a wide range of issues in the field of accounting, developing a cardless system of mechanized and automated accounting. Under his scientific supervision, many followers of the USSR accounting and analytical school prepared candidate and doctoral dissertations.
He died in 1995 .
For military merits during the Great Patriotic War and post-war labor successes, Afanasy Alekseevich was awarded the orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, the Red Star and the Badge of Honor, as well as medals.
