The monument to MV Lomonosov is a monument to the Russian scientist - the “ universal man ” : [1] to the naturalist , chemist , physicist , astronomer , geographer , historian , poet , author of the project of Moscow University in Orel .

Description
One of the oldest schools in the city of Orel is named after MV Lomonosov . A graduate of this school, sculptor B. D. Bologov and architect G. T. Rakitin, in 1980 presented the school with a bust of a scientist made of tinted plaster on a concrete pedestal. The monument was installed in a public garden in front of the school [2] [3] .
