History

The bank was founded on September 1, 1922 as JSC Industrial Bank (Prombank).

Rename Bank:

  • August 8, 1923 - JSC Russian Commercial and Industrial Bank;
  • August 13, 1924 - JSC Commercial and Industrial Bank of the USSR (Prombank of the USSR);
  • June 27, 1928 - JSC Bank for Long-term Lending to Industry and Electricity of the USSR (and merged with the USSR Electrobank);
  • May 5, 1932 - the All-Union Bank for Financing the Capital Construction of Industry and Electricity (Prombank of the USSR);
  • August 17, 1936 - The All-Union Bank for Financing the Capital Construction of Industry, Transport and Communications;
  • April 7, 1959 - All-Union Bank for the Financing of Capital Investments (Stroybank of the USSR) (combined Prombank, Selkhozbank and Tsekombank of the USSR);
  • January 1, 1988 - divided into the Industrial and Construction Bank of the USSR (Promstroibank of the USSR), the Agro-Industrial Bank of the USSR ( Agroprombank of the USSR ) and the Bank of Housing and Communal Services and Social Development of the USSR ( Zhilsotsbank of the USSR );
  • December 19, 1990 - State Commercial Industrial and Construction Bank of the USSR (Promstroybank of the USSR); [one]
  • from August 1991 - Joint-Stock Investment and Commercial Industrial and Construction Bank of the USSR (Promstroybank of the USSR, was abolished in August of the same year).

USSR Electric

It was established on October 29, 1924 as a Joint-Stock Bank for Electrification (USSR Electrobank). June 27, 1928 was abolished and entered the USSR Industrial Bank.

The chairmen of the Board of the USSR Electrobank were:

  • Paderin, Alexander Nikolaevich (11/01/1924 - 1926);
  • Margulis, Julius Viktorovich (1926 - 06/27/1928).

The building of the Electrobank in Moscow in the style of constructivism was specially built in 1926 by the architect I. A. Golosov . [2]
