Karol Ignacy Malsburg ( Polish: Karol Ignacy Malsburg ; July 31, 1856 , Chernihivtsi - December 31, 1942 , Lviv ) - Polish physiologist, livestock specialist, professor of agronomy and animal husbandry. Full member of the Polish Academy of Technical Sciences (1932).

Biography
Born July 31, 1856 in with. Chernihivtsi. He graduated from the chemistry department of the Lviv Polytechnic , and in 1877-1880 he studied at the Higher School of Field Croping in Vienna.
Professor of the Department of Livestock at the Agricultural Academy in Dubliany , Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry of the Lviv Polytechnic in 1920-1921, professor at the University of Poznan . In 1922, he was a co-founder of the Polish Zootechnical Society.
One of the first in Poland to apply large-scale biological animal husbandry methods, many times represented Polish science in foreign zootechnical research centers.
In 1929 he was awarded the Commander’s Cross of the Order of the Renaissance of Poland [1] , in 1936 he was awarded the Golden Cross for Merit . Honorary Professor of the Lviv Polytechnic .
He died on December 31, 1942 in Lviv. He was buried at Lychakiv cemetery .
