Geography
The village is located 13 km west of the center of the village of Novoaleksandrovo and 25 km northwest of Vladimir .
History
At the end of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries, the village was part of the Petrokovsky volost of Vladimir district , since 1926 - as part of the Starodvorskaya volost . In 1859 [2] there were 54 households in the village, in 1905 [3] - 81 households, in 1926 [4] - 80 households.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Fomitsinsky Village Council of the Stavrovsky District , since 1932 - as part of the Sobinsky District , since 1945 - as part of the Stavrovsky District , since 1965 - as part of the Suzdal District , since 1966 - as part of the Klementyevsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Novoaleksandrovsky rural settlement .
