Mehring, Sergey Fedorovich

Sergei Fedorovich Mering ( 1867 - after 1918) - Berdychiv district leader of the nobility in 1908-1910, Minister of Trade and Industry in the government of Hetman Skoropadsky .

Biography

From the hereditary nobles of the Kiev province [1] . The son of the honored professor of the University of St. Vladimir, secret adviser Fedor Fedorovich Mering and his wife Ekaterina Mikhailovna Ivanenko.

He graduated from the College of Paul Galagan (1885) and the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of St. Vladimir in Natural Sciences.

He was a large landowner in the Berdychiv district (more than 6500 acres ), was engaged in agriculture. He owned a water mill and seed farm in the village of Novaya Greblya , as well as a distillery in the village of Ovechache . In the mid-1890s, he was a candidate for the board of directors of the Kiev City Credit Society. In the estate, Staraya Priluka built the main house in non-barreled forms [2] .

Upon the introduction of zemstvo institutions in the Western Territory, he was appointed a member of the Berdychiv district council for zemstvo economy . November 5, 1908 he was appointed Berdichevsky district leader of the nobility , in which position he remained until 1910 [3] . In addition, in different years, he was a member of the Berdichevsky district committee of guardianship of national sobriety, an honorary magistrate of the Berdichev district, and a member of the Berdichev district county land management commission (from landowners).

From October 24 to December 14, 1918 he was Minister of Trade and Industry of the Ukrainian State (as a representative of Protofis ) [4] . The further fate is unknown.
