Tallinn - St. Petersburg (train)

GoRail Baltic Train

Tallinn - St. Petersburg - a railway route served by trains of the Estonian company GoRail . It was formed in the period from 1991 to 2008. From September 2008 to May 26, 2012 trains did not run to St. Petersburg due to economic loss [1] . From May 27, 2012 to May 11, 2015 the route Tallinn - St. Petersburg-Vitebsk was renewed [2] and was served by the diesel train DR1 A-312. After the resumption of the FPK train, on July 18, 2015, GoRail retained only the Narva-Tallinn train within Estonia. In turn, Russian Railways retains the Moscow-Tallinn train , which as of 2019 is branded and goes through the cities of St. Petersburg , Kingisepp , Ivangorod , Narva , Johvi , Rakvere and Tapa . The route also ran along the Narva railway bridge .
