History

The cathedral was founded and consecrated by the Head of the Novo-Nakhichevan and Russian Diocese by Archbishop Tiran Kuregyan in May 1993 . The building was built of cinder blocks in the Neo-Armenian style of religious buildings. Architect - O. Zadikyan. The first services were held on May 10, 1998 . The belfry was built in 2004 .
