Geography
Located on the right bank of the Chunya river.
History
The village was founded in 1926 as a trading post of the Joint-stock company "Raw materials" [4] .

Locals mainly lead a traditional lifestyle: they hunt, fish, pick mushrooms and berries, and grow vegetables.
Local government
According to Art. 25 No. 131 of the Federal Law "On the General Principles of the Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation" in a settlement with the number of residents with the right to vote, not more than 100 people, a meeting of citizens is held to resolve local issues.
